Job summary

Skechers USA Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician III in Southern California to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex automated warehouse systems.

You will work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, focusing on high-speed sortation and automated storage solutions. Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Safety: Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Tools: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures, including error/fault codes on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs to the Input/Output level, including processor fault identification.
• Service and repair Motor Control Panels, including motor starters, overloads, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and fuses.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair sensors, encoders, bar code readers, and VFDs.
• Install, wire, and repair 480V/208V 3-phase motors with brakes and speed reducers.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems including compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders, and vacuum components.
• Service hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for troubleshooting and repair.
