Qualifications

• Demonstrated maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs and 3-phase systems.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding and machine alignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to keep machines running smoothly.
• Develop and refine maintenance procedures for equipment.
• Maintain automation equipment to design standards.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and control issues.
• Troubleshoot circuits, repair electrical and pneumatic devices.

Job description

• Perform preventive maintenance on various production equipment to ensure machines continue to run smoothly
• Develop and refine preventive maintenance procedures for equipment
• Properly maintain automation equipment and associated machinery to designed standards
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and repair defective circuitry and electronic components
• Install equipment to improve operational efficiency
• Use data from machines to analyze and evaluate performance and determine needed adjustments
• Operate and understand manufacturing equipment and processes
• Repair electrical and pneumatic devices
• Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment

Requirements

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to read and understand direction procedures in manuals
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools, including electric drills, drill press, saws, grinders, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
• Hands-on knowledge of volt meters and other test/measuring equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot automation equipment, wiring equipment, airlines, power supplies, AC/DC motors, and control cabinets
• Ability to work with PLCs and HMIs, including programming of frequency drives
• Basic PLC programming skills for troubleshooting equipment and associated processes
• Experience troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase equipment
• Experience troubleshooting control circuits
• Strong logical thinking skills
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience with mill, lathe, and surface grinder
• Experience with MIG and TIG
• Familiarity with RO and DI water systems

Demonstrates expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, including PLCs and HMIs. Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics, with hands-on experience in using various power tools and test equipment.
