Job summary

Ridge Corporation in Ohio seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead the maintenance team. You will troubleshoot and repair production and facilities equipment, keeping systems running at peak efficiency and assisting with new equipment installation and commissioning.

The role requires advanced multi-craft skills, quick adaptation, and a strong focus on safety and quality. You will work independently and with plant personnel, modeling a positive, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Experience working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Operate mobile equipment including aerial lifts and forklifts.
• Knowledge of safety rules, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
• Ability to read and understand English well enough to follow machinery controls.
• Basic math skills including reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Repair industrial equipment including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulics, compressors, chillers, and boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on plant equipment and determine corrective actions.
• Work with electrical controls devices including sensors, VFDs, PLCs.
• Assist with equipment installations and commissioning.
• Lead by example and support company policies and goals.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Position Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

Location: Frazeysburg, OH

Pay: Up to $37/hour to start (*10% Shift Differential= $40.70/hr)
Plus quarterly performance bonus opportunities

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM; OT Friday 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM

Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)

Position Summary:

Ridge Corporation is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to serve in a leadership role within our maintenance department. If you have advanced multi-craft skills, adapt quickly, and want to keep growing your expertise, this role is for you.

You’ll troubleshoot and repair production and facilities equipment, keep everything running at peak efficiency, and help install and commission new equipment. You’ll work independently and alongside other plant personnel, leading by example with a positive attitude.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support manufacturing by repairing industrial equipment, including electrical components, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, compressors, chillers, and boilers
• Complete preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, using your experience to catch problems before failures occur
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues on all plant equipment and determine the right course of action
• Work confidently on electrical control devices, including sensors, VFDs, and PLCs
• Take part in equipment installations and commissioning
• Lead by example and support company policies, goals, and objectives
• Take on other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and manuals
• Experience working at heights (ladders, aerial lifts, roofs) and in confined spaces
• Ability to operate mobile equipment, including aerial lifts and forklifts
• Knowledge of company safety rules, OSHA, and department procedures, including Lockout/Tagout
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
• Ability to read and understand English well enough to follow machinery controls, load types, temperatures, and times
• Basic math skills, including reading a tape measure

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This is a hands-on role on your feet for much of the shift, working across production and facilities equipment.
