Professional Business Providers, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician I to perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems to keep operations safe and reliable.

This senior-level role requires independence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while coordinating with vendors and maintaining thorough maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge.
• Can read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and BAS.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Complete work orders and keep maintenance records/logs up to date.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies, including some after-hours/on-call support.
• Support facility projects (installs, upgrades, repairs) and coordinate with vendors onsite.
• Track spare parts/supplies and flag reorder needs.
• Follow safety protocols (LOTO, OSHA, confined space, fall protection).
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices.
