Job summary

HMSHost is looking for a Maintenance Associate to perform general maintenance and ensure our location complies with health and safety regulations in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role involves repairing and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems.

The position requires at least 1 year in maintenance, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. HMSHost offers a range of benefits and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum 1 year experience in maintenance field.
• Knowledge of landscaping, small appliance repair, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry preferred.
• Clean driving record; ability to pass HMSHost MVR background check
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses and performs repairs within guidelines of expertise and health and safety guidelines.
• Maintains small appliances, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ensures safety of the structure and equipment as per local/state/federal health and safety regulations.
• Coordinates repairs within approved budgetary guidelines.
• Maintains preventative maintenance schedule and records for all systems and equipment.
• Performs landscaping and snow removal where applicable.
