Job summary

Meijer in Tipp City, OH seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to lead preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance for complex utility systems, PLCs and mechanical equipment. You will perform routine testing, monitor HVAC/pressurization, and provide 24/7 process monitoring with proactive actions, while coordinating with vendors and a maintenance planner.

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with standard mechanical and electrical maintenance practices; preventative maintenance.
Skilled in various PLC programming languages; able to read schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform routine PM, predictive (PdM) and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment life.
Monitor and adjust complex heating/ventilation systems and utility equipment.
Provide 24/7 monitoring and respond to process alarms.
Coordinate with Maintenance Planner on materials and vendor interactions.
Support engineering on equipment design, layout, or redesign as needed.
Train and guide other technicians and operators as required.
Maintain safety and lean manufacturing practices across all activities.
