Job summary

Meijer is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support planning, scheduling and routine/urgent maintenance across water treatment, refrigeration and boiler systems. You will manage PMs, troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation, and ensure strict safety and regulatory compliance in a multi-craft plant environment.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/refrigeration experience, 3–5 years in manufacturing maintenance, and familiarity with GMPs, SQF and LOTO practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, scheduling and maintenance activities.
• Proactively maintains all water treatment, refrigeration, boiler functions and equipment including ammonia, refrigeration, boilers, chilled water, compressed air, HVAC.
• Regulatory and compliance record keeping for all systems.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance of utilities systems in a multi-craft environment including PLC, instrumentation, mechanical and general equipment repair.
• Responsible for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work order completion in a timely manner.
• Preform other duties as required by Maintenance Manager.
• Practices 200% safety accountability in self and others.
