Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to manage Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance across complex utility systems in a multi-craft environment. You will work with PLCs, instrumentation, and mechanical components to maximize equipment life and performance.

The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing maintenance, relevant technical education, and strong communication. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to meet production goals and uphold

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required.
Associates degree or certification in a technical field preferred.
Mechatronics Certifications for Levels 1-7 completed.
5-7 years of hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance and repair practices.
Skilled in PLC programming languages and related controls.
Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, LOTO and Lean concepts.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on utilities systems.
Monitor and adjust complex heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
Conduct 24/7 automated process monitoring and respond accordingly.
Order and track chemicals, work with vendors, and manage inventory.
Provide training and direction to technicians as needed.
Collaborate with Engineering on projects and equipment redesigns.
Ensure safety rules and Lean principles are followed during maintenance.
