Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician Specialist to lead maintenance of the material handling system. The role requires deep knowledge in mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls, with a focus on preventative maintenance and training program development.

As a subject matter expert, you will mentor junior technicians, interpret complex schematics, and coordinate with vendors and corporate teams to ensure resources and compliance with FedEx standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree in a related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
• Develops scopes of work and project plans for small scale local projects.
• Mentor and assist lower-level technicians.
• Work with vendors, integrators and corporate support teams to ensure resources availability.
