Job summary
Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance of material handling systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance and rapid repairs. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC/controls and welding/fabrication issues, interpret schematics, and escalate when needed.
Use Enterprise Asset Management software to log data and collaborate with other technicians to keep operations safe, efficient and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Four years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Proficiency in mechanical power transmission and electrical with PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
- Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software.
- Commitment to safety and required trainings.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults using schematics and manuals.
- Interpret electrical or mechanical schematics to diagnose issues or escalate.
- Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
- May assist higher level technicians on complex control systems issues.
- May develop scopes of work and project plans for small local projects.
- Occasionally work flexible shifts as business needs dictate.
