Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support industrial maintenance on material handling systems. The role emphasizes preventative and predictive maintenance across mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, welding, and fabrication, with troubleshooting as needed.

You will learn and apply prescribed processes while adhering to safety standards in a dynamic facility environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required with minimum skill requirements.
• Demonstrated basic mechanical aptitude through background or hobbies in agriculture, automotive or other technical areas.
• In lieu of demonstrated mechanical aptitude, two (2) years of FedEx Operations Sortation equipment knowledge will be considered or currently enrolled in a certificate or degree program for Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems in mainly mechanical power transmission.
• Will diagnose simple mechanical power transmission issues visually or audibly apparent at the single component level.
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards and promotes a safe work environment by attending safety meetings and required trainings and addressing all safety concerns.
• Will require assistance/supervision in preventative/corrective maintenance tasks.
• May participate in smaller scope projects.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule including all days and shifts as the business need dictates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
