Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform diverse on-site tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. You will diagnose and repair issues, maintain safety standards, respond to requests, and supervise outside contractors as needed.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance scheduling, inventory support, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances.
• Hazard awareness and commitment to safety standards on site.
• Ability to supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Proactive communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair issues in multiple areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain pool, hot tub and other amenities; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Supervise duties and contractors in the absence of supervisors.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with management and residents.
• Assist with safety meetings and ensure compliance with policies.
