Job summary

Fairfield is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance tasks and diagnose/repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. You will ensure safety and cleanliness of the property and respond to maintenance requests promptly.

Responsibilities include supervising outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Strong diagnostic skills and customer service are essential for on-site operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal license.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license.
Valid driver’s license.
2+ years of property maintenance experience.
Experience supervising contractors preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.
Maintain pool, hot tub, and amenities; ensure safety and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
Schedule and document preventive maintenance and apartment turns; conduct regular inspections of common areas and equipment.
Supervise duties and outside contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor; coordinate move-ins and move-outs.
Assist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations; report potential liabilities and ensure property compliance.
Maintain inventory and assist in purchasing materials and supplies.
Participate in resident functions and post notices.
