Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our egg production and processing facility in Michigan.

The role focuses on repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment during non-production and production periods, while adhering to safety standards and OSHA requirements. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operators and line mechanics to ensure smooth operations.

Formación

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
• Previous experience in maintenance is required; experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
• Familiar with safety programs such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, Hot Work, Electrical Safety.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Plans and performs work applying electrical/electronic and mechanical theories, codes, and material properties.
• Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advises operators and line mechanics on safe operation of equipment.
• Maintains maintenance records for identified equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance as directed.
• Assists maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting.
• Assists and trains other maintenance staff.
