Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Orlando is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machine-shop and fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, manual lathes and mills, and additive-manufacturing systems.

You will troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and document work orders in LMBuildings or CMMS while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, operating, or providing technical support for industrial equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting CNC machines, manual machine tools, fabrication equipment, or similar industrial equipment.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical or electromechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or other equipment systems.
• Experience reading equipment drawings, schematics, technical manuals, manufacturer documentation, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience using common machine shop, fabrication, maintenance, hand, power, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to independently evaluate equipment failures and determine appropriate troubleshooting and repair actions within assigned capability.
• Working knowledge of applicable equipment safety practices and lockout/tagout requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned and emergent maintenance to keep equipment available and reliable.
• Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related failures and coordinates with manufacturers, service providers, Engineering, and other trades when needed.
• Assists with minor machining and fabrication for facility upkeep, such as fabricating components and small welding.
• Caries out corrosion prevention activities and documents equipment conditions in LMBuildings.
• Executes preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment repairs, installations, relocations, and commissioning with supervision and contractors as required.
• Ensures work complies with safety, quality, environmental, technical, and documentation standards.
