Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Machining Operations Center within the MFC facility. You will drive process improvements, develop fixtures and tooling, and lead automation initiatives to enable ultraprecision machining of critical components.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CAD proficiency (Siemens NX, CREO, SolidWorks), and hands-on experience in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or Solidworks.
• Experience working in production manufacturing environment.
• The candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements in small parts assembly, paint, and plating.
• Create detailed work instructions and interpret drawing requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop fixture and tooling concepts, drawings, and models.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement automation and MES/ERP technologies.
