Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations across our apartment communities in Miami. You will supervise a team, manage work orders, coordinate vendor visits, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires extensive hands-on repair skills, strong leadership, and a commitment to resident service, with EPA Universal certification and a valid CPO preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years general maintenance/repair; 3+ years in apartment industry
• Management experience required
• Tech savvy; comfortable with basic software
• Must have own tool kit
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of service operations to achieve goals.
• Complete work orders including appliance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical repairs.
• Maintain positive customer service to residents and applicants.
• Train maintenance teammates and develop their potential.
• Assist Property Manager with staffing, performance reviews and recruiting.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment; adhere to OSHA standards.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within set time frames.
