Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure indoor and outdoor areas meet our high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, manage make-ready tasks, and uphold Greystar’s quality across grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include completing work orders from residents, inspecting vendors, assisting with budgeting, and maintaining safety standards. A strong customer-service mindset and OSHA awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent management.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant apartment homes.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and buildings.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist with budget.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond to concerns with urgency.
