Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley seeks a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a diverse portfolio of nonprofit facilities. You will supervise the maintenance crew, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of work orders across 40+ program sites, including residential and clinical spaces, while coordinating vendors and maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong maintenance background.
• 10-15 years in maintenance roles, with at least 5 years supervising a crew.
• Experience in nonprofit, residential, healthcare, or behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations across 40+ program sites.
• Direct and inspect work, manage work orders, and coordinate vendors.
• Perform hands-on repairs when needed (painting, carpentry, basic electrical/plumbing).
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for building systems (HVAC, electrical, life-safety).
• Ensure safety policies and compliance with OSHA; prepare sites for inspections.
