Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance for the Liquid Products division.

You will ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment and facilities, support continuous improvement, and manage maintenance resources to meet production goals. The role requires supervisory experience, knowledge of multiple systems, and strong project management skills, with a third shift schedule and on-site work at facilities.

Qualifications

• Up to 18 months of post-highschool education in engineering or electronics from an accredited vocational, technical or junior college.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in maintenance or supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler and other systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct day-to-day maintenance activities to expedite work orders and ensure safety and productivity.
• Manage maintenance programs for production machinery and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate external contractors for equipment maintenance and improvements.
• Design or layout in-house projects with engineers to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Monitor the budget to keep maintenance costs within plan.
• Communicate maintenance standards across the team and with internal customers.
• Adhere to safety, health, environmental standards and crisis management guidelines.
