Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance in the Liquid Products division, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. You will drive continuous improvement, manage staff, coordinate external contractors, and align activities with production goals.

The role emphasizes safety standards, equipment maintenance programs, and cross-functional communication to minimize downtime and support manufacturing success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler and other systems.
• Supervisory concepts and techniques.
• Project Management experience.
• Maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Read diagrams and blueprints.
• Interpret maintenance anomalies and identify solutions.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct day-to-day maintenance staff activities to expedite work orders and ensure safety and productivity.
• Manage maintenance programs for production machinery, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Plan and coordinate external contractors on equipment maintenance projects.
• Design in-house projects with the project engineer to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Monitor the budget to keep maintenance costs within plan.
• Communicate maintenance standards to staff and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to food safety, quality and legal compliance; act in crises per the guide.
