Job summary

Golden State Foods (GSF) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations and lead a team of technicians. This role focuses on minimizing downtime, managing preventive maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement to support production goals.

You will supervise 10–20 technicians, ensure OSHA/USDA compliance, and coordinate with production and other departments to optimize reliability and safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with OSHA and USDA regulations.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Post-high school education in engineering or electronics (up to 18 months).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities to meet production schedules.
• Lead a team of 10–20 technicians and coach their development.
• Plan preventive maintenance and manage downtime.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and control budgets.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and internal standards.
• Review diagrams and blueprints to plan work.
