Job summary
Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join our Charlotte-based manufacturing team. You will oversee maintenance, repair, and optimization of high-tech machinery, manage a team of technicians, and drive reliability improvements across production lines.
The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of PLCs and robotics, and a solid foundation in preventive maintenance and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC systems, lathe, mill, and related equipment.
- Strong supervisory skills with ability to lead and motivate a team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Lead and train maintenance technicians.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and robotic systems; coordinate with external providers.
- Ensure safety and quality compliance within the team.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.
