Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial & Automation Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across our facility, ensuring equipment reliability and peak uptime. You will drive automation initiatives, manage a team of technicians, and coordinate safety and quality compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, strong PLC/SCADA/HMI skills, and a focus on proactive maintenance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience with PLC's, SCADA, HMI, Automation, conveyors, preventative maintenance, fabrication, and welding.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and automation systems, including their functions, maintenance requirements, and common issues.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and system issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for industrial and automated equipment, including conveyors, to ensure maximum operational efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
• Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with other department managers to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor equipment and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in industrial maintenance and automation, and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
• Oversee fabrication and welding tasks, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard.
