Job summary

Home Chef in California seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and safeguard the reliability of facilities, equipment, and systems, maximizing plant productivity.

You will install, maintain, and repair automation components, read equipment manuals, and guide operators to improve efficiency while upholding GMP and safety policies. This role requires hands-on maintenance and leadership on a 2nd shift with travel.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• OSHA PIT and scissor lift certification required; knowledge of electrical wiring and controls preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians; ensure GMP and safety compliance
• Perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and automation equipment
• Maintain records in CMMS and manage spare parts inventory
• Coordinate facility repairs and contractor work; ensure safety and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and optimize maintenance
