Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) at the Waco Center for Youth is seeking a Maintenance Specialist IV to perform advanced restoration, renovation, and building maintenance work. The role includes inspections, installations, and maintaining essential building systems across multiple facilities in Texas.

The position entails leading maintenance projects, coordinating materials, and ensuring safety and quality standards while supporting disaster response and COOP activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or equipment/vehicle repair work.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work on building systems for various trades.
• Repair/renovate buildings and systems; design projects to code standards.
• Lead construction, maintenance, or repair projects and supervise others as needed.
• Process work orders, projects, and materials requisitions; maintain records.
