Job summary

Titan Search Group is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader for an eastern Alabama plant. You will set maintenance strategy, drive reliability, and partner with Operations to boost equipment performance and product quality.

You will lead a team of mechanics and coordinate preventive maintenance, spare parts, and safety-focused upgrades, with strong emphasis on leadership and technical expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of related experience in manufacturing maintenance with supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, boiler, and refrigeration systems.
• PLC programming skills, GMP familiarity, and ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Project management, clear written and verbal communication, and proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing software.
• Physical ability to kneel, crawl, climb, and lift over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team activity, balancing weekday and weekend priorities and keeping work orders moving.
• React fast to line breakdowns and keep improvement projects on schedule.
• Oversee production equipment upkeep and spare parts stock to limit downtime.
• Run preventive maintenance programs and machine rebuilds with safety in mind.
• Design or guide control system upgrades that boost output and cut stoppages.
• Coach mechanics and operators and help Operations expand operator-led reliability.

What you bring

• PLC programming skills, GMP familiarity, and the ability to read blueprints and diagrams
