Job summary

CPS, Inc. in Nashville seeks a Maintenance & Reliability Manager to drive the site’s maintenance and equipment reliability strategy, maximize asset performance, minimize downtime, and support operational excellence.

You will lead maintenance operations, reliability, utilities, facilities, planning, and technical personnel to ensure assets operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Emphasis on preventive, predictive, and RCA-driven improvements, budget ownership, and a proactive reliability

Qualifications

• Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Drive reliability improvements through root cause analysis and CI initiatives.
• Develop and coach the maintenance team, including performance management and succession planning.
• Manage asset life cycles and support capital upgrades and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of facility infrastructure and critical utilities (HVAC, electrical, water, building systems).
• Ensure facilities remain compliant with operational, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage the annual maintenance operating budget.
• Build a proactive reliability culture focused on prevention.
• Lead and develop technical personnel in maintenance and reliability.

Job description

The Maintenance & reliability Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the site’s maintenance and equipment reliability strategy to maximize asset performance, minimize downtime, and support operational excellence. This role provides leadership for maintenance operations, reliability, utilities, facilities, maintenance planning, and technical personnel while ensuring manufacturing assets operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

• Develop and execute the site’s preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize equipment availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Drive improvements in equipment reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, performance management, training, and succession planning.
• Manage asset life cycles, supporting capital upgrades and improvements
• Oversee maintenance of facility infrastructure and critical utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration, electrical distribution, water systems, and building systems.
• Ensure facility assets remain compliant with operational, food safety, and regulatory
• Develop and manage the annual maintenance operating budget.
• Build a proactive reliability culture focused on prevention rather than reaction.
