Job summary

Planet Group is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Director to provide strategic leadership across maintenance, reliability, facilities, and asset management in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will drive maintenance strategy, oversee multi-site teams, and partner with Operations to maximize equipment uptime.

The role requires 15+ years in maintenance leadership, strong expertise in preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance, and a track record of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 7 years leading maintenance managers, engineers, supervisors, and multi-site teams.
• Experience leading maintenance in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance and asset reliability strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide leadership to maintenance managers, engineers, planners, and supervisors.
• Lead maintenance programs—preventive, predictive, corrective, and reliability-centered.
• Drive predictive maintenance technologies and asset lifecycle management.
• Oversee RCFA and corrective actions for significant equipment failures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and CI teams to improve equipment and processes.
