Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an experienced Maintenance and Facilities Manager to direct the activities related to the maintenance and appearance of the facility, fleet shop, and related systems. You will oversee safety, budget compliance, and coordination with third-party providers across beverages, security, and power equipment.

The role requires 7 years of maintenance management experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and multiple certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 7 years maintenance management experience required.
• Valid state Driver's License with liability coverage.
• Ammonia Operation Certification (Level 1) required.
• HAZWOPER 24 hrs Training, Incident Commander Training (or within 12 months).
• Refrigeration certifications/licences required; Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily work and safety of associates in buildings, grounds, fleet maintenance, refrigeration, and security.
• Advises labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts.
• Coordinates emergency response and safety trainings with the safety manager.
• Maintains vendor relationships for janitorial, security, pest control and fleet/maintenance services.
• Prepares budgets, profit plans, and capital requests as required.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA and related regulations.
• Maintains certification records and audits inspections and documentation.
