Job summary

Trident Seafoods, a leading Alaskan seafood company, seeks a Maintenance Project Manager to oversee all phases of assigned projects, deliver on-time and within budget. You will lead teams, review cost data, and coordinate with engineering to optimize production facilities.

Must have a BS degree (mechanical preferred) and 5 years of related experience, including 2 years in maintenance project management. The role involves field work in demanding environments and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree and five years related experience.
• 2 years of maintenance project management experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Ability to work under time restrictions and read/write simple memos.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or secures and reviews cost estimates.
• Writes contractor bid packages and oversees project installation.
• Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment to ensure continuous production.
• Provides training and startup assistance for new equipment.
• Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machinery.
• Directs maintenance on utility systems to support operations.
• Manages preventive and predictive maintenance programs with engineering staff.
• Reviews production, quality, and maintenance reports to plan activities.
• Plans and implements methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
