Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Project Manager to lead multi-phase projects across production facilities. You will develop cost estimates, oversee design, bid packages, and installations, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous production in Alaska.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and experience with industrial systems; process safety, refrigeration, and equipment familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with five years of related experience; mechanical engineering preferred.
• 0
• Minimum 2 years in maintenance project management, preferably in the food industry.
• Must have leadership experience and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information clearly.
• Strong math skills including rate, ratio and percent calculations.
• Experience with process safety management and equipment in industrial settings preferred.
• EPA 608 or 609 card preferred; construction field experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or secures cost estimates and writes requests.
• Manages design, bid packages, and installation oversight.
• Schedules maintenance and installation to ensure continuous production.
• Provides training and startup assistance for new equipment.
• Coordinates teams to fabricate/modify machines and tools.
• Directs maintenance on utility systems to ensure operation.
• Manages preventive/predictive maintenance with engineering staff.
• Reviews production/quality data to plan maintenance.
• Develops methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Consults with design engineers on equipment needs and modifications.
• Resolves maintenance problems with management and engineering.
