Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Maintenance Planner Specialist in Texas to plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower, parts, materials, and equipment access to support maintenance functions.

You will provide planning support to ensure reliability of equipment and processes while optimizing maintenance practices and addressing safety concerns. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, CMMS/EAM familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience required.
• Experience with CMMS (EAM preferred).
• Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, tools, and techniques.
• Clear understanding of maintenance planning activities and strategies.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate manpower resources, parts, materials, and equipment access for maintenance.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure availability for maintenance work.
• Lead weekly maintenance scheduling and communicate priorities.
• Review equipment history and suggest improvements to the maintenance program.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance specifications and SOPs.
