Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a technical field with 1-3 years maintenance scheduling/planning or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician.
• Familiar with an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates non-emergency work requests and determines job requirements.
• Estimates labor hours, skillsets, parts, materials and tools for proactive jobs.
• Gathers drawings, schematics, specs and spare parts lists; verifies parts availability and arranges tools.
• Maintains a prioritized work order backlog and 80% Ready Backlog.
• Uses continuous improvement to update Job Plans for accuracy.
• Conducts weekly planning meetings with Production to set priorities.
• Creates a Weekly Technician Schedule covering priority jobs and PM tasks.
• Improves planning/scheduling via reviews and maintenance metrics.
• Maintains records for analysis and reporting of maintenance matters.
• Trains site employees on CMMS usage and integrity.
