Job summary

Shiseido Americas in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support daily production packaging and manufacturing operations, maintaining equipment in proper working order and ensuring alignment with safety and quality standards.

You should have a high school diploma with trade school training and 7+ years of GMP experience in cosmetics or related consumer goods, with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic know-how, plus PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of GMP experience in cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, or related consumer goods.
• Mechanical background with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with packaging filling and assembly equipment; bulk manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setups or product changeovers of equipment to support daily production schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair production packaging lines efficiently and safely to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive or predictive maintenance for production filling/packaging and bulk manufacturing equipment; document for regulatory compliance.
• Assist in measuring and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for primary filling and packaging equipment.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management to support company goals and objectives.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure training and safety certifications (including lock-out/tag-out).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
