Job summary

Sysco Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic (Levels I & II) to support GMP production lines in Rahway, NJ. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and installing all production line equipment, disassembling and re-installing pistons during washouts, and performing monthly preventive maintenance with deep cleaning sanitizations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (or trade school) and 5 years of high-speed packaging line maintenance experience,

Qualifications

• 5 years high-speed packaging line maintenance including plumbing and basic electrical
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general policies

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects
• Respond to repairs and issues on production lines; work on relocations, installations, upgrades
• Complete work orders for repairs and log activities; disassemble/reassemble pistons during washout
• Perform line size changeovers, monthly preventive maintenance, and deep cleaning sanitizations
• Maintain shop area for change and spare parts storage; request needed supplies
