Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a reliable mechanic for a full-time role in our cosmetics packaging facility. You will repair, maintain, and improve equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with supervisors and the production team.

Candidates should have 6+ months in cosmetic manufacturing packaging, be local, and comfortable with forklifts and pallet jacks; OSHA/SOP/GMP knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• 6+ months of mechanic experience in cosmetic manufacturing packaging.
• Knowledge of OSHA, SOP, GMP and related guidelines.
• Local candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Set-Up Mechanic Supervisor and senior management.
• Repair, build, and maintain equipment; manage production schedules and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, set up, and repair on new and existing equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
