Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Lead, Facilities Maintenance to oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and operation of site facilities and utility systems at our East Windsor, NJ location.

The role requires 7+ years in a cGMP environment, with preferred boiler and wastewater licenses, and HVAC/building automation expertise. You will manage work orders, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with external contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in a cGMP manufacturing environment (cosmetics/pharma/food/bev).
• Trade school certification or equivalent experience accepted.
• Boiler license and wastewater license preferred or obtainable within 6–12 months.
• HVAC/ refrigeration licenses and building automation experience are desirable.
• Proficient with MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs for East Windsor site assets.
• Provide timely progress updates to Sr. Manager, Facilities.
• Ensure SOP, GMP and cGMP compliance in all activities.
• Create and enter completed work orders into the CMMS, identify gaps and actions.
• Coordinate with Sr. Manager to cascade tasks across Facilities team.
• Assist with coordinating daily project work involving outside contractors.
