Job summary

JAK Diversified II INC in New Jersey seeks a skilled maintenance mechanic to provide mechanical, electrical and controls support for packaging lines. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, handle changeovers, and repair line equipment to keep production running smoothly in a regulated facility.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or technical degree, GMP knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or Technical Degree.
• 5+ years’ experience as maintenance mechanic.
• Knowledge and adherence to GMPs.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery (bottles, pouches, cartoning, thermoform, cold form blisters).
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational/time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on packaging machinery.
• Set up production lines as instructed by management.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain schedules.
• Disassemble and repair machinery using parts or by fabricating components.
• Inspect equipment for quality, safety, and proper function.
• Train Operators and mechanics on new equipment.
