Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our residential communities. You will supervise technicians, coordinate make-ready work, and ensure timely completion of service requests while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role demands HVAC/plumbing/electrical expertise and a focus on preventative maintenance. Candidates should have 7+ years in facilities, 3+ years of supervision, and relevant HVAC/EPA/NAPE certifications.

Qualifications

• An education in the trades and 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and a track record of hiring, developing and retaining high performing teams.
• An HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and being a role model for Bozzuto's core values and culture.
• Hiring, developing and providing on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to techs and community care associates.
• Following up with residents and completing apartment service tickets in a timely manner.
• Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Managing make-ready and turnover processes with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Preserving building value via preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensuring safety, cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance to protect residents.
• Maintaining peak efficiency of all property components and complying with codes and standards.
• Leading capital improvement projects within budget and managing vendor relationships.
• Coordinating staffing and 24/7 emergency coverage.
