Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Manager to lead the onsite maintenance team across multiple communities in Charlotte, NC. The role ensures 100% uptime, safety, and superior resident service while driving efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive residential maintenance leadership experience, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, budgeting acumen, and a track record of managing capital projects and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

High School Diploma is required.
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
Master Electrician and Plumbing preferred.
10+ years of residential maintenance experience preferred.
8+ years building facilities operation experience in luxury apartments.
5+ years supervisory experience in facilities management.

Responsibilities

Provide exemplary leadership to the onsite maintenance team.
Manage assigned staff, including work assignment, supervision, and direction.
Ensure prompt and efficient service by team members.
Develop multi-year capital project plans and manage capital projects.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
Coordinate with Property Manager on budgets, forecasts, and financial reviews.
Conduct regular site inspections and maintain compliance documentation.
Oversee contractor activities and ensure safety and quality standards.
