Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations and lead a team of technicians. You will coordinate with production and engineering to ensure safety and continuous improvement, with emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance and downtime reduction.

This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance issues or complete special projects. Previous GMP experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industrial maintenance, with 4+ years in a manager role.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings.
• Lead projects and people with strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of GMPs, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with CCMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance technicians and planner for efficient operations.
• Schedule maintenance mechanics and approve timecards; manage time off requests.
• Check daily production board for scheduled product runs and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with production and operators on setup issues and downtime causes.
• Implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment status, and compliance reports.
• Provide hands-on repairs in electrical/mechanical as needed.
• Track downtime and report to management; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
