Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in industrial maintenance with at least 4 years in a manager role in food manufacturing.
• Proficient with PLC logic and reading electrical schematics.
• Able to lead projects and people.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout and confined space safety.
• Knowledge of GMP and CCMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor maintenance technicians and planner for efficient operations.
• Schedule Maintenance Mechanics with weekly timecards and time off requests.
• Check daily production board for scheduled product runs.
• Communicate with production supervisors, leads, and operators for setup issues.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager, Plant Engineer, and maintenance staff for special assignments.
• Maintain and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Verify work orders and repairs performed.
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment status, and compliance reports.
• Prepare and present regular maintenance reports to management.
• Provide hands-on electrical/mechanical repairs as needed.
• Ensure quality and safety of products and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify issues and schedule repairs.
• Keep workshop clean and well-maintained.
• Assign tasks to maintenance technicians and validate completion.
• Track equipment downtime daily.
• Develop and execute PMs for equipment and utilities.
• Maintain daily records of activities and reports.
• Implement proactive maintenance measures to prevent disruptions.
• Oversee parts inventory management.
