Job summary

Sun Technologies in McDonough, GA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead reliability for PLC-controlled automation and facility systems at the distribution center.

You will guide maintenance supervisors across a split shift, own preventive and condition-based maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvements. The role includes budget and vendor management, KPI ownership, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, HR, and EHS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in maintenance/reliability in high-throughput environments.
• 3+ years of leadership experience directly managing supervisors/maintenance teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, robotics, conveyors, shipping sorters, RFID readers, and automated sortation.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians across a split shift to ensure full equipment coverage.
• Oversee preventive, condition-based, and continuous improvement maintenance programs.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional partnerships with Operations, HR, EHS, and Logistics.
• Drive KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and breakdown reduction through data-driven improvements.
• Plan and execute maintenance projects, upgrades, and equipment overhauls with scope, schedule, and risk management.
