Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager for the McDonough Distribution Center to lead reliability of automated material-handling equipment and facility systems. You will manage maintenance supervisors, optimize MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and drive continuous improvements in a split-shift operation.

You will shape preventive maintenance programs, oversee vendor relationships, manage the budget, and ensure safety compliance across PLC-controlled conveyors, robotics, sorters, RFID systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• 10+ years of progressive maintenance/reliability experience in high-throughput distribution, warehouse-automation, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and ensuring safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and technicians across a split‑shift operation, ensuring full equipment coverage.
• Own reliability of PLC‑controlled systems, conveyors, sorters, robotics, and RFID reader/scan systems.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and CBM techniques to minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance budget, spare parts, and vendor/contractor relationships to control costs.
• Drive safety culture and ensure EHS/OSHA compliance across facilities.
