Job summary
PTI Engineered Plastics in Michigan is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, ensure equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee maintenance personnel, coordinate with Production and Engineering, and manage safety and regulatory compliance in a demanding plastics manufacturing environment.
The role requires strong leadership, preventive maintenance expertise, and a proactive approach to reducing downtime and improving asset
Qualifications
- 7+ years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
- Experience leading maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Strong preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, and automated systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, reliable maintenance of equipment, utilities, and facilities.
- Prioritize work, allocate staff, and manage overtime within policy.
- Coach and develop maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Drive continuous improvement and reliability projects to maximize uptime.
