Job summary

Petoskey Plastics Morristown facility is seeking a Plant Engineer to serve as the second‑in‑command to the Plant Manager. You will drive execution across engineering, maintenance, and operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets.

This role acts as the primary technical and reliability leader, guiding capital projects, continuous improvements, and daily operations while partnering with cross‑functional teams to eliminate downtime and improve overall equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, preferably plastics extrusion/converting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second-in-command to the Plant Manager and drive plant priorities.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment across Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering.
• Identify and implement process improvements to raise throughput and reduce scrap.
