Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead site-based maintenance operations and develop the next generation of leaders. You will oversee Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop strategic programs, and drive excellence across your site with a focus on safety, uptime, and continuous improvement.

You will balance proactive planning with rapid response to emergencies, manage budgets, and coordinate with operations to optimize facility performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing large facilities or complex operations.
• Experience leading senior managers and diverse teams.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers to develop talent and drive excellence.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs, manage site budgets and capex, and drive continuous improvement to maximize uptime.
• Ensure strict safety protocol adherence and partner with site leadership to enforce safe work practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and external contractors; provide technical guidance on equipment lifecycle using ROI.
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network initiatives across multiple sites.
• Directs the on-site technical workforce including MM, AMMs, CSEs and maintenance technicians.
• Minimize equipment downtime and ensure MHE and sorting systems run continuously for delivery promises.
• Manage facility engineering budget, spare parts costs, vendor contracts, and labor allocations.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance cadences using CMMS data.
