Tyson Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and plan cost-effective maintenance for processing and refrigeration equipment. You will supervise teams, coordinate with engineers, and ensure timely completion of activities while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance supervision, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), and strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance supervisor experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance supervisors and personnel to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Plan and oversee equipment and process maintenance for operation of departments.
• Collaborate with contractors and engineers on equipment modifications and installations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving equipment and processes.
• Support and maintain highly automated systems including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics.
• Coordinate maintenance training programs for team members.
• Assist with preparing and overseeing maintenance budgets.
• Manage team member work schedules and ensure parts and assets are available.
