Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance efforts for processing and refrigeration systems. You will oversee supervisors, coordinate with contractors, and ensure rapid, cost-effective execution of maintenance tasks.

Strong PLC/HMI/robotics knowledge and budgeting support are essential. The role requires 5+ years in maintenance leadership with a strong focus on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automation processes, along with good communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance supervisory/leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, automation and training processes.
Ability to supervise maintenance supervisors and teams.

Responsibilities

Supervise and plan cost-effective, timely maintenance across processing lines and equipment.
Direct and coordinate maintenance supervisors and team members; support contractors and vendors.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues; optimize automated systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics).
Coordinate maintenance training programs and assist with budgeting and asset management.
Schedule work and ensure parts and assets are available; provide information for management decisions.
Perform other duties as needed.
